Had the pleasure of shooting a music video with G in LA last year. It was the first time taking a production overseas and, looking back, it felt like a crash course in making a film under pressure.

We landed the day before the shoot, travelling with our one-year-old daughter, running on next to no sleep, and somehow still had to be ready to hit the ground at sunrise. Every production has a few curveballs, but this one seemed determined to tick every box on Murphy's Law. If something could go wrong, it usually did.

Despite all of that, there was something pretty special about making this one. Everyone involved rolled with the punches, adapted on the fly and kept the focus on the work. Sometimes those are the projects that end up meaning the most, the ones where you spend the day putting out fires but somehow still walk away with something you're genuinely proud of.

It's easily one of the more challenging shoots done to date, but also one of the most rewarding.
