We were ecstatic when cult British Punk band Basement came knocking. As long time fans of the band it was a real pinch us moment. They were in Australia touring with Turnstile. To our delight, we quickly realised that true to their punk roots, the band are very hands on, so we established a strong collaborative dialogue and got to work. We locked in the treatment on Xmas eve which meant working through the holidays. The challenges we faced made the delivery taste super sweet. We dialled in our Sydney connections and shot on 16mm film on the South Coast of NSW.
